A FASCINATING HISTORY
This villa was built by Archie Del Marez, a California entrepreneur and self-made millionaire who developed and patented the CMOD digital heart pacemaker. An avid sailor, he later relocated to Saint Lucia where he developed the now famous Rodney Bay Marina.

His passion for the sea is reflected throughout the villa’s nautical-inspired design elements.

The unique architectural concept was inspired by the legendary domed city of pleasure created by the Mongol ruler Kublai Khan, famously referenced in the poem Kubla Khan by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
